Key Accomplishments
As a senior gameplay programmer, I worked closely with various content creators whilst developing several expansions to the baseline content. Most importantly, I accomplished the following:
- Shipped one expansion: The Chisholm Trail
- Shipped a variety of quality of life features and bug fixes to the base game
- Rapidly upskilled in the Unreal Engine in order to make meaningful contributions in short order
- Seamlessly integrated into the game evolution team along with their pipeline and processes
As a mid-level gameplay programmer, I was responsible for working closely with designers and artists to develop the core game mechanics as well as the UI/UX. Most importantly, I accomplished the following:
- Developed a prototype of a free-to-play incarnation of the game using the Unity game engine
- Led the technical development of the project through the pitching and conception phases
